This document specifies test methods for the determination of the efficiency of frequency conversion from the electrical input, and of the available and workload microwave output power in industrial microwave heating installations, as well as operational flexibility.
This document is in principle applicable to industrial microwave heating equipment and installations in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz but focussed on the microwave ISM frequencies below 6 GHz.
This document relates to industrial microwave heating equipment operating as intended by the manufacturer's specifications for normal operation.
This document does not apply to appliances for household and similar use (covered by IEC 60335-2-25 [1]1), commercial use (covered by IEC 60335-2-90 [2] and IEC 60335-2-110 [3]) or laboratory use (covered by IEC 61010-2-010 [4]).

This document specifies test methods for the determination of useful high frequency power output in equipment for industrial heating and processing of materials. It is in particular applicable to HF generators made available to users as separate units.
This document is basically applicable to equipment operating in the frequency range 100 kHz to 300 MHz, as defined in IEC 60519-1, with the following limitations.
– This document does not apply to induction heating, which it is possible to carry out in the lower part of the specified frequency band.
– The ISM centre frequencies for dielectric heating and processing of industrial interest are narrow bands about 6,78 MHz, 13,56 MHz, 27,12 MHz and 40,68 MHz.
– This document is not applicable to:
• appliances for household and similar use;
• commercial use;
• laboratory use;
• medical high frequency equipment.
For equipment working in designated ISM bands, it is a legal requirement that the frequency remains within the ISM bands according to CISPR 11, but the resonant frequency of the circuit varies with the change of dielectric parameters of the load. Therefore, the value of the mean output power in the work cycle can be much lower than the value obtained under the test conditions. This value depends upon the response of the tuning system.
NOTE 1 The following criteria are suitable for determination of the classification as industrial equipment:
– commercial equipment is typically designed and planned for series production of many identical units;
– industrial equipment is typically produced in small series or even as single units; the processed goods are consumed or ready for final use at the end of the heating process.
NOTE 2 Heating a workload with dielectric parameters which change significantly in time and/or with temperature, the value of the output power obtained with the actual charge can be different from that obtained with the test load specified in this document.
This document relates to equipment normally operating under continuous rated conditions.

This document provides a set of properties for the description of learning resources from ISO 15836-1 and ISO 15836-2 using the framework provided in ISO/IEC 19788-1. This document specifies properties whose codomain is "literal" (as considered in early Dublin Core) and properties whose codomain is a resource class; the ISO 15836 series implicitly allowing both. This provides full interoperability at the time of expressing existing Dublin Core records with MLR, while allowing a linked data approach for the description of learning resources.

IEC 61788-15:2026 describes measurements of the intrinsic surface impedance (Zs) of HTS films at microwave frequencies by a modified two-resonance mode dielectric resonator method. The object of measurement is to obtain the temperature dependence of the intrinsic Zs at the resonant frequency f0.

It is crucial that the Zs data at the measured frequency, and that scaled to 10 GHz be reported for comparison, assuming the f2 rule for the intrinsic surface resistance, Rs (f < 40 GHz), and the f rule for the intrinsic surface reactance, Xs. The following conditions are considered in order to determine the system boundary of the fuel cell power system:
– all energy recovery systems are included within the system boundary;
– all kinds of electric energy storage devices are considered outside the system boundary;
– calculation of the heating value of the input fuel (such as natural gas, propane gas and pure hydrogen gas) is based on the conditions of the fuel at the boundary of the fuel cell power system.
The document does not provide safety requirements for the testing of stationary fuel cell power systems. Details on safe operation of the tested system can be obtained from the manufacturers instructions.

IEC 61788-27:2025 specifies a test method for the twist pitch measurement of Nb‑Ti/Cu and Nb‑Sn/Cu composite superconductors by an untwisting method.
The test method is applicable to Nb‑Ti/Cu and Nb‑Sn/Cu composite superconducting wires with monolithic structures, which have either a round cross section with a diameter ranging from 0,2 mm to 2 mm or a rectangular cross section that is equivalent in area to the round cross‑sectional wires. These wires possess a filament diameter ranging from 6 µm to 200 µm, a twist pitch between 5 mm and 50 mm, and a matrix of copper or copper alloy. This document uses nitric acid to remove the matrix (copper or copper alloy), so the surface of the composite superconducting wire can be plated with a material that is dissolvable by nitric acid.
Though uncertainty can increase, the method can apply to Nb‑Ti/Cu or Nb‑Sn/Cu composite superconducting wires when the parameters of cross-sectional area, filament diameter and twist pitch are out of the limit.
The test method specified in this document is expected to apply to other types of composite superconducting wires after some appropriate modifications.
