Carrier Cycles - Part 6: Passenger transport

This document applies to the transportation of passengers in a forward- and/or rearward-facing position on a carrier cycle as defined in the EN 17860 series, except for Part 7 (carrier cycle trailers).
This document does not apply to the transportation of children in a child seat that is tested according to EN 14344:2022.
This document applies to the intended riding purpose commuting and leisure with moderate effort, in accordance with EN 17406:2020+A1:2021.
NOTE    Some European countries have special legislation for transporting children on cycles. Compliance with this document might not meet this legislation.

Lastenfahrräder - Teil 6: Personentransport

Dieses Dokument gilt für den Transport von Mitfahrern in einer nach vorn und/oder hinten gerichteten Position auf einem Lastenfahrrad, wie in der Normenreihe EN 17860, ausgenommen Teil 7 (Anhänger für Lastenfahrräder), festgelegt.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für den Transport von Kindern in einem Kindersitz, der nach EN 14344:2022 geprüft wurde.
Dieses Dokument gilt für den beabsichtigten Fahrzweck (zum Pendeln und für Freizeitfahrten) mit moderatem Aufwand nach EN 17406:2020+A1:2021.
ANMERKUNG   Einige europäische Länder haben besondere Rechtsvorschriften für den Transport von Kindern auf Fahrrädern. Eine Übereinstimmung mit diesem Dokument erfüllt diese Rechtsvorschriften ggf. nicht

Le présent document s’applique au transport de passagers face à l’avant ou face à l’arrière sur un cycle utilitaire tel que défini dans les autres parties de la présente série de normes.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas au transport d’enfants dans un siège enfant soumis à essai conformément à l’EN 14344:2022.
Le présent document s’applique au mode de conduite prévu, à savoir les déplacements quotidiens et les loisirs avec un effort modéré, voir l’EN 17406:2020+A1:2021.
NOTE Certains pays européens disposent d’une législation particulière relative au transport des enfants sur des cycles. La conformité avec le présent document peut ne pas garantir le respect de cette législation
