EN 1008, Mixing water for concrete - Specification for sampling, testing and assessing the suitability of water, including water recovered from processes in the concrete industry, as mixing water for concrete. 3.9 Reinforcement (of concrete products) Change the title of 3.9 to read: Reinforcement (of precast concrete products) 4.3.1.1 Production tolerances Change the 3rd paragraph to read: The upper permitted deviation for the location of the reinforcement may be determined as the mean value of the bars or strands in a cross-section or over a width of 1 m (e.g. slabs and walls). Change the first sentence of the last paragraph to read: Other types of tolerances may be given by product standards together with the values of the related permitted deviations (e.g. camber of beams, …). 4.3.7.1 Durability requirements Change the first sentence to read: The following specifications refer to concrete structural products with a design working life consistent with EN 1992-1-1. 6.1.3.2 Factory production control Change b) to read: b) continuing surveillance, assessment and approval of factory production control (including supervision of measurements and tests on materials, process and products). 6.3.3 Control system Change the beginning of the first sentence to read: The manufacturer shall establish, document maintain and implement a factory production control system to ensure… 6.3.8 Hardened concrete compliance criteria Change the fourth paragraph to read: For a continuous production period the prior period for sampling the group of “n” non overlapping consecutive test samples may be reduced to three weeks of FPC provided that a minimum of 15 results are obtained.
