Industrial, commercial, garage doors and gates - Product standard, performance characteristics

This European Standard specifies the performance requirements for doors, gates and barriers, intended for installation in areas in the reach of people, for which the main intended uses are giving safe access for goods and vehicles accompagnied by persons in industrial and commercial premises and in residential garages. The devices may be manually or power operated. Note: Power operated doors may be supplied either as an original power operated door or by the retrospective addition of a drive unit to a previously manually operated door.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Leistungsanforderungen für Tore und Schranken fest, die für den Einbau in innerhalb der Reichweite von Personen liegenden Bereichen vorgesehen sind und deren hauptsächlich vorgesehene Anwendungen im sicheren Zugang für von Personen begleiteten Waren und Fahrzeugen zu industriellen und öffentlichen Anlagen sowie zu Garagen im Wohnbereich bestehen. Die Vorrichtungen können von Hand betätigt oder kraftbetätigt sein.

La présente norme européenne définit les exigences concernant les performances des portes, portails et barrières qui sont destinés à être installés dans des zones accessibles aux personnes, et dont l'utilisation principale prévue est de permettre l'accès des marchandises et des véhicules accompagnés de personnes, en toute sécurité, dans des locaux industriels et commerciaux ou des garages dans les zones d'habitation. Ces équipements peuvent être manoeuvrés manuellement ou motorisés.
