Gas welding equipment - Rubber hoses for welding, cutting and allied processes
This European Standard specifies requirements for rubber hoses, including twin hoses and fluxed fuel gas hoses for welding, cutting and allied processes. The term "allied processes" means, in particular, heating, brazing and metallization.
This standard specifies requirements for rubber hoses for normal duty up to 2 MPa (20 bar) and light duty [limited to hoses for maximum operating pressure up to 1 MPa (10 bar) and with nominal bore less than or equal to 6,3 mm].
This standard pertains to hoses operated at temperatures - 20 °C to + 60 °C.
Thermoplastic hoses specified in EN 1327 are excluded from this standard.
Different colours and markings are specified for identification of the gas.
NOTE If hoses for liquefied petrol gases are used without regulators the use of light duty rubber hoses is not allowed.
This standard applies to hoses used in:
¾ gas welding and cutting;
¾ arc welding under the protection of an inert or active gas;
¾ processes allied to welding and cutting;
and assembled according to EN 1256.
Hose connections for the manufacture of hose lines see EN 560.
This standard does not apply to hoses used for high pressure acetylene [more than 0,15 MPa (1,5 bar)].
Gasschweißgeräte - Gummischläuche für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für Gummischläuche, einschließlich Doppelschläuche und Fluxschläuche, für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse fest. Der Begriff "verwandte Prozesse" bezeichnet insbesondere Wärmen, Hartlöten und Spritzen.
Diese Norm gilt für Gummischläuche normaler Klasse bis zu 2 MPa (20 bar) und für Gummischläuche leichter Klasse [beschränkt auf Schläuche für einen höchsten Betriebsdruck von bis zu 1 MPa (10 bar) und mit einer Nennweite von kleiner oder gleich 6,3 mm].
Diese Norm gilt für Schläuche, die im Temperaturbereich von -20 °C bis +60 °C benutzt werden.
Kunststoffschläuche nach EN 1327 sind aus dieser Norm ausgeschlossen.
Für die Gasartzuordnung sind verschiedene Farben und Kennzeichnungen festgelegt.
Anmerkung Wird Flüssiggas ohne Druckregler entnommen, ist die Verwendung von Gummischläuchen der leichten Klasse nicht gestattet.
Diese Norm gilt für Schläuche, die eingesetzt werden bei:
Gasschweißen und Schneiden;
Lichtbogenschweißen unter dem Schutz eines inerten oder aktiven Gases;
verwandte Prozesse zum Schweißen und Schneiden;
und jene die nach EN 1256 eingebunden sind.
Schlauchverbindungen für die Herstellung von Schlauchleitungen, siehe EN 560.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Schläuche, die für Hochdruckacetylen [mehr als 0,15 MPa (1,5 bar)] verwendet werden.
