This European prestandard specifies requirements and classification for burglar resistant properties of doors, windows and shutters. It is applicable to the following means of opening: turning, tilting, folding, turn-tilting, top or bottom hung, sliding (horizontally and vertically) and rolling, as well as fixed constructions. This European Prestandard is not applicabl to manipulation and burglary attempts in respect of electronic or electromagnetic security devices. Note: Building elements which can be reached or driven through by vehicles should be protected by appropriate measures such as barriers etc.

Diese europäische Vornorm beschreibt die Anforderungen und Klassifizierung der einbruchhemmenden Eigenschaften von Fenstern, Türen, Abschlüssen. Sie ist anwendbar auf die folgenden Öffnungsarten: drehen, kippen, falten, drehkippen, schwingen, schieben (horizontal und vertikal) und rollen, sowie auf fest montierte Konstruktionen. Diese europäische Vornorm ist nicht anwendbar für die Manipulationen und Einbruchversuche bezüglich elektronischer oder elektromagentischer Sicherungseinrichtungen.

La présente prénorme européenne fixe les prescriptions et la classification pour les propriétés de résistance à l'effraction des portes, fenêtres et fermetures. Elle s'applique aux systèmes d'ouverture suivants: battant, oscillant, pliant, oscillo-battant, à gonds haut ou bas, coulissant (horizontalement et verticalement) et à enroulement ainsi qu'aux constructions fixes. la présente prénorme Européenne ne s'applique pas aux manipulations et tentatives d'effraction sur les dispositifs de sécurité électroniques ou électromagnétiques.
