This draft amendment is submitted to CEN members for enquiry. It has been drawn up by the Technical Committee CEN/TC 163.

This draft amendment A1, if approved, will modify the European Standard EN 13407:2015. If this draft becomes an amendment,
CEN members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for inclusion of
this amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration.

This draft amendment was established by CEN in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other
language made by translation under the responsibility of a CEN member into its own language and notified to the CEN-CENELEC
Management Centre has the same status as the official versions.

CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,

This document (EN 13407:2015/prA1:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 163
“Sanitary appliances”, the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This document is currently submitted to the CEN Enquiry.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association, and supports essential characteristics of the EU Construction
Products Regulation.
For relationship with EU Construction Products Regulation, see informative Annex ZA, which is an
integral part of this document.
This document contains the Annex ZA in the format of TF N 687 rev 1 of 2015-06-02 and editorial
modifications as agreed between representatives of EU/DG Growth, CEN/TC 163 and FECS on
2016-07-07 in Brussels for citation as standard in OJEU.
1 Modification to the text as a whole
At relevant places in the standard, replace the words "class" and "type" (also in plural forms) by the words
"type" and "sub-type" (also in plural forms) respectively.
