Aerospace series - Testing of aircraft wiring
This standard specifies: - the tests for finished wiring, including connectors and, if necessary, terminals, terminal ends, junction boxes, circuit breakers, etc. These tests do not concern equipment installed in the aircraft (see ISO 2678), the operation of systems and do not apply to the wiring used for "flight test instrumentation"; - the requirements for verification of aircraft electrical wiring: - continuity of circuits; - voltage strength; - insulation resistance.

Diese Norm legt folgendes fest: - die Prüfungen, die an fertigen Verkabelungen mit ihren Steckverbindern und gegebenfalls anschlußstücken, Kabelschuhen, Verteilerkästen, Schutzschaltern usw. durchzuführen sind. Diese Prüfungen gelten nicht für die im Luftfahrzeug eingebauten Geräte (siehe ISO 2678), die Funktion der Systeme und die Verkabelung von "Flugversuchs-Meßanlagen"; - Forderungen, die zur Prüfung der elektrischen Verkabelung von Luftfahrzeugen bestimmt sind: - Stromdurchgang; - Spannungsfestigkeit; - Isolationswiderstand.

La présente norme spécifie: - les essais que doivent subir les câblages terminés comprenant leurs connecteurs et éventuellement: cosses, embouts, boîtes de jonction, disjoncteurs, etc. Ces essais ne concernent pas les équipements installés à bord (voir ISO 2678), le fonctionnement des systèmes et ne s'appliquent pas aux câblages de "l'installation d'essais" en vol; - les exigences destinées à la vérification des câblages électriques d'aéronefs: - continuité des circuits; - tenue à la tension; - résistance d'isolement.
