This document specifies test methods for electronic initiation systems.
The test methods for electronic initiation systems refer to complete electronic initiation systems but also to electronic detonators, wireless electronic detonators and to firing units, programming units, testing units and control units that are part of an electronic initiation system.
Other parts of the EN 13763 series contain test methods applicable to electronic detonators, too.
This document does not apply to electric, non-electric, plain and semi-finished detonators, surface connectors, detonating cord relays, coupling accessories, leading wires and shock tubes.

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren für elektronische Zündsysteme fest.
Die Prüfverfahren für elektronische Zündsysteme beziehen sich auf vollständige elektronische Zündsysteme, aber auch auf elektronische Zünder, drahtlose elektronische Zünder und Zündeinheiten, Programmiereinheiten, Prüfeinheiten und Steuereinheiten, die Teil eines elektronischen Zündsystems sind.
Auch andere Teile der Normenreihe EN 13763 enthalten auf elektronische Zünder anwendbare Prüfverfahren.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht für elektrische und nichtelektrische Zünder, Sprengkapseln, halbfertige Zünder, Oberflächenverbinder, Sprengverzögerer, Verbinder, Zünderdrähte und Zündschläuche anwendbar.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d’essai pour les systèmes d’amorçage électroniques.
Les méthodes d’essai pour systèmes d’amorçage électroniques font référence aux systèmes d’amorçage électroniques complets, mais aussi aux détonateurs électroniques, aux détonateurs électroniques sans fil et aux consoles de tir, unités de programmation, unités de test et unités de contrôle qui font partie d’un système d’amorçage électronique.
D’autres parties de la série EN 13763 contiennent des méthodes qui s’appliquent également aux détonateurs électroniques.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux détonateurs électriques, non électriques, pyrotechniques et semi finis, aux connecteurs de surface, relais pour cordeau détonant, manchons d’accouplement, fils d’amorce et tubes à transmission d’ondes de choc.
