Railway applications - Brake indicators

This European Standard specifies the requirements for the design, dimensions, performance and testing of single/double brake indicators. It applies to pneumatically and electrically operating brake indicators visible from the outside of the vehicle.
NOTE   Brake indicators are for giving information about release and application of the brake.
This European Standard applies to brake indicators on railway vehicles used on the main national networks, urban networks, underground railways, trams and private networks (regional railways, company railways etc.).
This document does not apply to brake indicator for magnetic track brake or eddy current brake.

Bahnanwendungen - Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Konstruktion, Maße, Leistung und Prüfung für Einzel /Doppel-Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen fest. Sie gilt für pneumatische und elektrische Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen, die außerhalb des Fahrzeuges sichtbar sind.
ANMERKUNG   Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen dienen dazu, Informationen über das Lösen und Anlegen der Bremse zu geben.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen in Eisenbahnfahrzeugen, die auf den nationalen Hauptstrecken, S-Bahnstrecken, Untergrundbahnen, Straßenbahnstrecken und privaten Strecken (Regionalbahnen, Werksbahnen usw.) eingesetzt werden.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Bremsanzeigevorrichtungen für Magnetschienenbremsen oder Wirbelstrom¬bremsen.

Applications ferroviaires - Indicateurs de freins

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences à respecter pour la conception, les dimensions, les performances et les essais des indicateurs de frein simples doubles et multiples. Elle s'applique aux indicateurs de frein à fonctionnement pneumatique ou électrique visibles depuis l'extérieur du véhicule.
NOTE    Les indicateurs de frein servent à donner des informations sur le serrage et le desserrage des freins.
Cette Norme européenne s'applique aux indicateurs de frein des véhicules ferroviaires utilisés par les réseaux principaux nationaux, les réseaux urbains, métropolitains, les tramways et les réseaux privés (chemins de fer régionaux, compagnies privées, etc.).
Ce document ne s'applique pas aux indicateurs de frein des freins électromagnétique ou à courants de Foucault.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za zasnovo, dimenzije, zmogljivost in preskušanje enojnih/dvojnih kazalnikov zavor. Uporablja se za pnevmatske in električne kazalnike zavor, vidne zunaj vozila.
OPOMBA 1: Kazalniki zavor podajajo natančne in točne informacije o sprostitvi in uporabi zavor.
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za kazalnike zavor železniških vozil, ki se uporabljajo v glavnih državnih, urbanih, podzemnih, tramvajnih in zasebnih omrežjih (regionalne železniške proge, železniške proge podjetij itd.).
