La présente norme décrit le mode opératoire de mesurage des tensions des tubes radiogènes à l'aide du spectre énergétique des rayons X (méthode spectrométrique). Elle couvre la plage de tensions comprises entre 10 kV et 500 kV. Le but est de vérifier la correspondance entre la tension effective et la valeur indiquée sur le tableau de commandes de l'unité à rayons X. L'objectif consiste à mesurer uniquement l'énergie maximale et non l'intégralité du spectre à rayons X. Le mode opératoire s'applique aux unités à rayons X à tension auto redressée et à tension constante.
