Standard Practice for Conformity Assessment of Protective Clothing Worn by Operators Applying Pesticides (Withdrawn 2019)

ABSTRACT
This practice establishes the conformity assessment requirements for limited use and reusable garments that are worn while spraying field strength liquid pesticides. The conformity assessment process has three levels and is based on potential risk. The standard covers supplier's declaration of conformity, product certification, certification body, and product marking.
SCOPE
1.1 This practice establishes the conformity assessment requirements for limited use and reusable garments that are worn while spraying field strength liquid pesticides. The testing requirements for supplier’s declaration of conformity and certification are specified in Specification F2669.
1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
